The events of 2020 turned a home into a school, a gym, an office, and for some of our neighbors, their homes required much needed attention in order to ensure a safe and healthy environment to complete these activities. In the fall, Hurricane Zeta added additional stress to houses and families already impacted by economic changes. Habitat strives to be responsive to the needs of our community and we have seen the increased demand for owner-occupied home repairs.

In order to broaden our reach and help more families make much needed improvements to their homes, Women (re)Build will focus on returning homes to safe, sanitary and secure conditions.
