Over the last two months, we have seen unprecedented changes to our economy, and for many people this has meant the unfortunate loss or significant reduction of income. It is hitting home as our own families are being faced with the difficult possibility of withdrawing out of the Hillside program if additional aid is not offered.

With the changing landscape of our educational system, dyslexic children need our program more than ever.

To make sure our students do not continue to fall more behind during a time they need us most, we have established a COVID-19 Relief Scholarship Fund. This fund will provide financial aid to our families who have been most impacted by the economic downturn from the COVID-19 pandemic.

We know our community stands ready to respond, which is why we are asking for those who are able to please support our families during this time. Our Board of Trustees are leading this campaign by committing over $20,000.

We are hoping to raise $35,000+ in three weeks to offer the additional aid needed to help keep some of our students enrolled at Hillside. This campaign begins on April 27 and will commence on May 17. The amount we raise will determine how many students we can support by offering financial aid for the 2020-21 academic year.

If you are in the place to do so, please consider supporting this campaign. Together we can help our students continue to thrive, during an uncertain time.

Additionally, if you are an enrolled family looking to apply for this financial aid, you can do so by following the link below:
