SUPPORTING COLLEGIATE RIDERS AND THEIR EDUCATIONAL ASPIRATIONS

Founded in 1984, the Intercollegiate Equestrian Foundation Inc. (IEF) was created to foster and promote intercollegiate equestrian activities and competition through the awarding of scholarships and grants. The scholarships are awarded to those undergraduate college students who have competed in intercollegiate equestrian activities. They are based upon non-discriminatory criteria including academic achievement, equestrian sport achievement, community service, and financial need.   The IEF is a non-profit 501(c)(3) corporation.

Since its inception, the IEF is proud to have awarded more than 1,100 scholarships exceeding $775,000 to deserving students from across the country.
This was made possible through generous donations from sponsors and supporters.
