We are enthusiastically participating in a new era in Buffalo - one where refugees are welcomed by a coordinated refugee resettlement network, where we prioritize new Americans’ inclusion in the wider community, and where the International Institute’s impact is maximized.

To meet the new demands of this time we have been hiring refugees and immigrants onto our workforce to expand services in a client-centered direction. We proudly recognize nine of our foreign-born caseworkers, who are using their lived experiences to be stronger allies for our arrivals. Throughout the next two months, we will be showcasing the impact of these professionals and how your donations will connect new Americans with the resources to reach their professional aspirations!

Funding expanded employment programs, like the six-week Job Readiness Course and English Language Courses, which prepare new arrivals for the American workforce.
