WE NEED YOUR SUPPORT TO KEEP OUR CHILD FRIENDLY SPACE OPEN IN APRIL

We only have enough funding to keep this safe haven open until April 16th, 2021.

In January 2021, Cyclone Eloise displaced several thousand people in Mozambique. Over 2,500 families are creating a new home and community in Guara-Guara, but as public infrastructure is still being established for this growing town, many children do not have access to education nor a safe space to play.

IsraAID Mozambique is providing a safe space for children in IsraAID's newest Child Friendly Space (CFS). The children participate in recreational and educational activities, whilst receiving psychosocial support to help minimize their trauma and the long-term impact of the emergency. They receive a daily meal, which for many is the only warm meal of the day.

Without your support, children affected by the cyclone will spend their days in a tent shared between 10 families, especially concerning amid the ongoing pandemic.

$5000 funds the CFS for a whole month. See that the safe space will remain open until May. Donate now.

"Many were traumatized but at the Child Friendly Space we see that the children are happier and at ease, that their trauma is disappearing little by little."
