Throughout the rest of 2020, we will continue to create virtual performances like this video to collect donations to be sent to the following causes:

Senior Chicagoans - While everyone is experiencing the negative effects to our well-being caused by COVID-19, seniors are especially feeling those pains as many are home-bound, isolated, and especially susceptible to the virus. As an organization with many senior women ourselves, we feel it is important to remember this oft-forgotten group. Donations collected by LCDC will be sent to Chicago Commons to continue to conduct their weekly phone calls, virtual wellness checks, and online activities for seniors, along with their online support group meetings for caregivers.

Beirut Victims - On August 4, 2020, a massive explosion at a port warehouse in Beirut left hundreds dead, over 6,000 injured, and more than 300,000 people homeless. Today, the people of Beirut are still struggling with the aftermath of what happened; while coping with losing loved ones, they are also discovering how the explosion affected their lives and stability and demolished the efforts of many years of hard work. Donations collected by LCDC will be distributed to the victims via The National Evangelical Synod of Syria and Lebanon.
