With a new Congress and a new Administration, let's work together to push for more investment in Bicycling from Washington!

Earlier this year, you helped us advance a bill to increase funding for bike projects by 60%, create a National Complete Streets Policy, judge projects through a social equity lens and even introduce a Bicycle Commuter Tax benefit.

In 2020, bikes have been our lifeline - to fresh air, physical exercise, to commutes for essential workers. This is why we lobbied to include bicycle repair as an 'essential service' during the early weeks of the pandemic. With more of our neighbors discovering cycling during the BIKE BOOM, let's work together to build a Bicycle Friendly America for Everyone.

With your help, in 2021 we'll:

  • Build a coalition of support for bikes with a new Congress and new Administration
  • Connect more advocates with their elected leaders at the National Bike Summit
  • License, train and insure hundreds of new League Cycling Instructors
  • Expand our partnerships with cities, universities and businesses to build better places to ride
  • Demand new vehicle technology is equipped and programmed to operate safely around bicyclists and pedestrians of all races and ethnicities.

Major thanks to all who have donated thus far and also to the League's Board of Directors for making our #GivingTuesday campaign a big success. Together, let's #Rideto2021 and ensure the League is ready for a transformative program year by achieving our year-end goal of $60,000.
