60 acres of Canadian farmland has been generously donated by the Beaudry family to the Living/Dying Project to help create ongoing revenue for the nonprofit. The Beaudrys are a highly skilled and experienced 3rd and 4th generation family of farmers who hold a deep relationship with the land.

We are raising $100k to cover the cost of inputs, expenses, and a portion will immediately go to the Living/Dying Project. They will be seeding wheat with perennial rye grass underseeded to it.

We'll provide a google maps link to all those who donate so they can see exactly where their donation is going. Examples of possible food from the farm are mustard, peas, wheat, clover, flax, rye, barley, and oats.

This farm would be 1 of only 9 regenerative farms in Saskatchewan. Supporting regenerative agriculture creates endless benefits. To name just 4:

1) Regenerative agriculture leads to healthy soil, capable of producing high quality, nutrient dense food.

2) Benefits water quality and quantity. Less chemical and pesticide inputs means less chemical pollution impacting ground and surface water.

3) Helps reverse climate change! Emissions reduction alone is simply inadequate. Luckily, the science says that we can actually reverse climate change by increasing soil carbon stocks.

4) Heals the damage caused by industrial agriculture and builds a food system that’s better for people, animals and the environment for generations to come.

Finally, this project will support conscious living and conscious dying. Future proceeds will help the nonprofit Living/Dying Project continue the work of providing emotional and spiritual support to those facing a life-threatening illness and to their families and caregivers.
