A Special Thank-You for Donations of $100 or More

This year, our team has come together—not just as arts administrators, but as artists—to craft limited-edition recycled-cotton tote bags inspired by our home at the Arts Center at Governors Island and our commitment to two critical priorities: supporting working artists and embracing environmental sustainability.

Handmade by LMCC staff using cyanotype printing—an environmentally-friendly photographic process that uses light-sensitive dye to create rich blues when exposed to sunlight—each tote is a one-of-a-kind piece of art. Featuring natural plants collected from the island, these totes reflect our commitment to creativity, community, and sustainability. Because these totes are made by hand, each one will feature its own distinct design, complete with natural variations and blemishes that celebrate the beauty of imperfection.

The first 100 people to donate $100 or more will receive one of these unique totes as a token of our gratitude.

Donations are tax-deductible within the limits prescribed by law. For donations of $100 or more, donors will receive a custom tote bag valued at $40.
