Civic Engagement Tour 2021

Session 1: June 26- July 10

Session 2: July 10- July 24

Session 3: July 24- August 6

About the Tour:

A transforming experience assisting students to develop a life-long commitment to the common good.

Travel to more than 40 cities, towns, sovereign Indian Nations, and cultural & historical sites.

Carry out 3 in-person classes and 2 individual writing sessions every day.

Dialogue with the people of California on their hopes and dreams for a just future.

Meet with elected officials and community leaders.

Students apply for one 2-week session.

Students must be nominated to apply. There is no cost to the family or school to participate or apply.
