The Master Gardener Foundation of Spokane County enhances the efforts of the Master Gardener Program and the Spokane community through fundraising, public awareness and educational activities.

In Spokane County the Master Gardener Program typically includes over 200 certified members and in 2019 they donated 24,000 hours of time teaching the public about research-based and sustainable gardening practices.  Not only do Master Gardeners spend time sharing their knowledge, but they reach a large number of citizens in Spokane, approximately 50,000 a year,  who request information about better ways to grow their plants.  These university trained volunteers seek to share their knowledge while also cultivating our community.
