Did you know that heart disease is the number one killer of women? It claims the lives of more women than all forms of cancer, Alzheimer’s, and respiratory diseases combined, and yet, women’s heart health research lags decades behind that of men’s.
We believe it’s time to catch up. We are establishing the Penny Anderson Women’s Cardiovascular Center that is committed to advancing the understanding of heart disease in women, how to prevent it, and how to optimize patient care.
Every year, we care for over 20,000 women with heart conditions across 31 places in MN and WI, which is more than anywhere else in the US. We are #1 in care, and we want to improve outcomes through education and research.
How to help?
Great medical advancements require visionary leadership, sound scientific research and substantial resources. Please put your money where your heart is and help us fund this life-saving center. You can donate to this campaign or start your own fundraiser!
