Our team of runners will complete the California International Marathon on December 8 in honor of children affected by necrotizing enterocolitis. We are raising funds and awareness to build a world without this devastating disease.

Each of our 26 miles will be dedicated to a baby impacted by NEC. Here's how to support our efforts:

1. Make a donation to the NEC Society.

2. If you'd like our team to run in honor of your child, please email Leslie@NECsociety.org and share your child's name and photo.

3. We will create a bracelet with your child's name for our runners to carry throughout their 26.2-mile race on December 8. If you send us a photo of your child, we will also add your child's photo to our Marathon online photo album.

Donations to the NEC Society are tax-deductible and will support our first NEC Advocacy Day in Washington DC where we will urge policymakers to increase funding for NEC research.
