The Neighborhood Junior Tennis Program was founded in 1993 by a group of friends who wanted to get together and give back to the community. Their core tenets were to help the surrounding community fight childhood obesity and prevent the youth from joining gangs. Over the years, the Neighborhood Junior Tennis Program has moved and grown into a family that supports this cause. The Neighborhood Junior Tennis Program has improved the community through tennis by providing cost-effective tennis lessons for over twenty-five years. Over the years, the NJTP has never denied a family who was in need. We want to continue to give back to the community and to other non-profits, such as St. Vincent's Meals on Wheels who help give food to homebound people.
With the support and generosity of donors, we can continue with our mission statement!
