We are committed to serving the most vulnerable through arts education. New Art offers classes for all ages and abilities; opportunities for teens to build portfolios, learn job readiness skills, and participate in art therapy; culturally relevant camps for working parents; and programs for women survivors of domestic violence and young adults with a range of disabilities.

We are also committed to growing community as we lift up and honor the diversity of the region with free Community Cultural Days including Dia de los Muertos, Holi Festival of Colors, Festivals of Light, Asian Lunar New Year, Black History Month Celebration, and Pride Month with free events that bring people together with music, dance, and art-making.

We are also are home to The New Art Curatorial Program, established in July 2020 as the BIPOC Curatorial Program. This program features three exhibitions annually curated by mid-career New England area BIPOC community writers, artists, and thinkers. This series enables curators of color to develop and share their vision through exhibitions that spark dialogue.

Your investment strengthens our community and supports New Art as we deepen and expand our services for the region. Tuition revenue covers only 65% of our annual expenses. Each year we must raise $600,000 to keep prices accessible, offer scholarships, and provide free community programs.
