This year, we've seen firsthand how transformative your investment can be. Take Danielle, for example. In 2017, she and her four children were forced to start over. With only enough money for a bus ride and one night in a hotel, they arrived in Cincinnati with nowhere to go. Danielle found safety at a shelter, worked hard to secure housing, a job, and enroll her children in school. Yet, one thing remained out of reach: furniture. With bills to pay and children to care for, buying furniture was simply impossible.

In 2021, Danielle's life changed when a mentor referred her to New Life Furniture Bank. We furnished her entire home—beds, a sofa, tables, and more—giving the family a sense of stability. "Before the furniture, we couldn't even gather as a family in our living room," Danielle said. "Now, we have a place to share meals, play games, and study the bible together."

We circled back with Danielle in October 2024, and learned that Danielle has earned her Bachelor's degree, is pursuing a master’s in criminal justice, and works full-time. Her children are thriving, and their future is bright. Danielle credits New Life Furniture Bank for being a critical part of her success.

At New Life Furniture Bank, we are dedicated to restoring dignity to those who are overcoming devastating circumstances such as homelessness.

Our trucks hit the road six days a week, delivering full house furnishings to 40-50 households weekly, throughout Greater Cincinnati, Northern Kentucky, and South Dayton areas. Our sole, unwavering mission is to collect and distribute furniture to our most vulnerable neighbors, and to make difference, we need you!

Over 1/2 of those we serve are children, primarily within single-parent households overcoming devastating circumstances such as homelessness or domestic violence. Families more likely to return to homelessness if they lack basic and essential furnishings such as a bed to sleep on, a table to eat at, or a sofa to gather around, and moving into a completely empty apartment makes it difficult for people to have dignity or even hope for a better future.
