Since 2006, Asheville-based Next Step Recovery, Inc. has been one of the nation’s leading not-for-profit providers of extended care and sober living services for men in early recovery from substance use and co-occurring disorders.

Next Step Recovery provides clinically-managed, residential care to men in early recovery from substance use and co-occurring disorders. We implement evidenced-based treatment in a safe environment where men can successfully transition back into society as productive citizens.

Because of the nature of addiction, many of our program participants come to us having lost nearly everything: their jobs, their savings, their personal relationships, their health, and their sense of worth. Our highly structured and comprehensive recovery programs help men move from hopelessness to dignified, self-sufficient, and successful lives in sustained long-term sobriety.

Your generosity can help offset the expense of early recovery care when individuals are focused on restoring their health, developing relapse prevention skills, and securing full-time employment or education.

There are many ways you can help bridge the gap between despair and recovery. Your gift—no matter how large or small—helps change and save lives.

Scholarship Fund

We are committed to providing a sober living community for men who could benefit from our highly structured recovery support. Your donation help buy precious time for participants to heal and get on the road to recovery, self-sufficiency, and a meaningful contributive life.
