Like many arts organizations locally and around the country, North Carolina Master Chorale is facing a difficult and uncertain time. We were disappointed to cancel our March and May concerts, but it was necessary even though it will negatively affect our ability to earn income to support the work of the Chorale.
That’s why we are immediately launching a 2020 Covid-19 Relief Fund to support North Carolina Master Chorale. Our goal is to raise $20,000 by the end of April. We’ve estimated this is the minimum budget shortfall we could be dealing with—it could be much more.
We need your help. Could you give today to help close our budget shortfall? We would welcome any amount you can manage.
We know that this is an unusual ask but these are unusual times. We operate on a very limited budget, with all of our revenue going to pay staff, provide choral education, and bring amazing choral music to our community. A major disruption like this one could be detrimental to our long-term financial health.
We are so thankful for your past generous support and I hope that we can count on you to help us in this time of need. Please call me if you would like to discuss how you can contribute.
