This spring, the Maybelle Clark Macdonald Foundation will provide $30,000 in matching funds for all *new* and *increased* donations to Open Signal. Open Signal puts the tools of storytelling into the hands of local media makers living in modern day Portland, OR, located in the ancestral homelands of the Multnomah, Molalla, Kalapuya, Chinook, Clackamas, Tenino, Wasco, Wishram, Paiute, and the many other Indigenous nations and communities who have built community here for thousands of years. Your donations help us fund free programming for media makers who haven't had access and have often been misrepresented in the media such as Black, Indigenous, and/or people of color, people with dis/abilities, people living with low incomes, and English language learners. Donations also help us provide free or low-cost media and digital literacy training to equity-driven Portland nonprofits.

* Only first time (new donors) and the increase in donation (from existing members) counts toward our match (not the whole donation) and up to $1,000.
