Philadelphia composer Erin Busch has received an Orchestra 2001 micro-commission residency to write a short string quartet as part of our new series: IN THE KEY OF L: Music Along SEPTA’s Market-Frankford Line.

Erin’s piece will respond to "Hold Tight" by Mural Arts artist Stephen Powers, at 51st and Market Streets near the 52nd Street "L" [EL] stop in West Philadelphia, and she will curate open rehearsals and pop-up concerts with her piece and other music.

With your support, Erin and Orchestra 2001 can expand this project. Help us stage more free, socially distanced, pop-up performances at the site of the mural, and in communities across Philadelphia.

No amount is too small or too large! All donors will receive special invitations by email to open rehearsals and performances of each work that they helped to support.

Thank you!
