100% of donations will fund upcoming events that safely connect musicians and audiences during this global pandemic. Please support Orchestra 2001’s musicians as they reach thousands of Philadelphians with free, safe, pop-up events during this time of great uncertainty!
While many groups and venues have been shuttered, Orchestra 2001 has hired over 30 performers for 18 free, socially distanced, pop-up events that have reached over 4,000 Philadelphians, with more coming soon!
(Current city restrictions do not permit concert announcements.)
In a profession often considered “non-essential” and during a time of unprecedented loss of employment for performing artists, we believe that Philadelphia’s residents are hungry for artistic expression now more than ever before. Orchestra 2001 is presenting free music that brings solace, beauty, and art into people’s lives, including areas of the city where any price of admission might be a hardship, even during the best of times.
