PUSH BUFFALO STRONG

Since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic, we have been listening to our community members and Buffalonians all over and responding to the needs.

What we are hearing most often? Because of the surge in job loss, and the fact that everyone is home needing 3 meals a day - people need help with paying rent, and feeding their families.

By making a donation at this time or signing up to fundraise on our behalf, you are directly supporting your neighbors.

In addition to providing financial support where needed, we've opened up the Mutual Aid Hub in School 77 (429 Plymouth Ave).

This hub serves as a safe place for community members to drop in and receive both groceries and household supplies, as well as a hub for deliveries to be made from for folks who are too vulnerable to leave their homes. The Mutual Aid Hub is absolutely taking off, and the requests that have come in since the news has been shared have been overwhelming. This is why we need your support!!

Please help us prove that Buffalo is Stronger when we come Together. We truly need your support to make this work, and the requests are not slowing down.

If you have any questions about signing up to fundraise or making a donation, please reach out to Emily Louis at elouis@pushbuffalo.org.

In Solidarity,

Rahwa Ghirmatzion, Executive Director

Harper Bishop, Deputy Director of Movement Building

Dawn Wells-Clyburn, Deputy Director of Administration
