Workout For Heroes Powered by Bravo Sierra

by Players Philanthropy Fund

Saturday, May 2, 2020 is National Fitness Day and we are celebrating with a LIVE STREAM FUNDRAISER for front line workers battling COVID-19 from 9:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. EST.

Participants simply donate $10 or more and receive a Zoom link that will get them access to 30 10-minute training segments that will inspire and empower through movement, music and voice with NYC's TOP trainers and speakers.

BRAVO SIERRA, the military-native wellness company, has offered to match $1 for $1 on all donations, doubling our impact for this initiative up to $10,000.

We couldn't be more excited to partner with BRAVO SIERRA for Workout for Heroes. If you don't know, BRAVO SIERRA has the best performance-oriented grooming products on the market for both men and women. They develop and field-test all their products with a community of U.S. Military Service members and share 5% of sales with programs dedicated to the wellbeing of active-duty service members, veterans and their families.

If you hit the $100 donation threshold, they'll send you a full kit of their products and brand merchandise.

Saturday's sessions include cardio, core, high intensity workouts, boxing, yoga, dance and more. Participants can follow along in their homes, anywhere worldwide.

The event will begin with a 10-minute talk about bravery with Reshma Saujani, founder of the international nonprofit Girls Who Code and author of the international bestseller Brave, Not Perfect.

100% of the donations will be given to In My Scrubs.

In My Scrubs is a group of New Yorkers who saw our local health care system become overrun by Covid-19 cases and decided to take action.

They activated their quarantined crew through digital means and they're doing their part to spread the message of sheltering in place, while supporting our health care workers on the front lines. In My Scrubs is supporting both hospitals and local restaurants, with their #InMyScrubs campaign.

100% of donations are used to buy meals for health care workers from local restaurants. Hospital employees get a nutritious meal, and local restaurants receive revenue.

By supporting this effort, you're helping our city's heroes in so many ways.
