“Walk For Moms” is more than just a walk: it helps raise awareness and end stigma in the community; it opens the door for all mothers to have access to free maternal mental health peer support services; it gives opportunity to pregnant women to prevent postpartum depression, and it gives free diapers and baby supplies to children in need.
The Walk for Moms is a movement that unites advocates of all ages, races, and backgrounds, and raises critical funds to support perinatal families. Now more than ever we need to get together and show our support for mothers and children in need.
☑︎ We Walk For Moms to show our solidarity for all women.
☑︎ We walk together to raise awareness about Maternal Mental Health.
☑︎ We “walk the walk” with moms and want them to know that they are not alone!
☑︎ We walk to express our compassion and understanding of how hard it is to give birth and raise children, especially during these difficult times. COVID-19 has brought a whole new level of isolation, stress, fear, worry, economic and financial instability, and depression.
☑︎ We walk for moms who are unable to provide the most basic necessities for their children.
☑︎ We walk to provide relief.
☑︎ We walk to prevent postpartum depression.
☑︎ We walk to inspire hope!
