URGENT: We are raising $100,000 to ensure our community members survive COVID-19 this winter! Help us provide emergency services and supply packs for people facing housing insecurity. A private funder has pledged to MATCH every donation dollar-for-dollar up to $50,000!
For several years, Kensington’s street homeless population has hovered between 200 and 400 people each winter. Individuals experiencing co-occurring substance use and street homelessness in this neighborhood have typically relied on low-barrier options and local community resources for respite from the elements.
Unfortunately, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, most of those options will not be available this winter. To ensure that our community survives the winter during a pandemic when other low-barrier options have become unavailable, PPP is raising $100,000 for a multi-faceted winter initiative. This initiative includes:
We know that with your support, we can save hundreds of lives this winter. And, thanks to a private funder, your donation is MATCHED, dollar-for-dollar, up to $50,000!
