Rainbow Mobile is an LGBTQ community organization dedicated to providing resources, presenting community events and pursuing projects in Southwest Alabama with the goal of having a healthier, happier and connected LGBTQ community.

Prism United hosts support groups for LGBTQ teens and preteens and a support group for parents of LGBTQ youth. We put on event nights, like open mic nights, costume-karaoke parties, game nights, and holiday dinners. We collaborate with AIDS AL South and the Mobile County Health Department to offer free educational presentations and STI testing for support group participants. Our partnership with Lifelines Counseling enables us to connect LGBTQ youth and their parents with mental health providers they can trust. At the beginning of 2020, we launched a new chapter of our teen program in Fairhope. This Spring, Prism is throwing a prom for LGBTQ high-schoolers across Mobile and Baldwin counties. As Prism receives further support and continues to develop, it intends to tackle issues of academic disadvantage and homelessness that disproportionately impact its target population.
