During the Covid-19 lockdown in Uganda, the poor families of Mustard Seed Academy are facing dire hardships. Their normal hand to mouth existence is not possible and they are going hungry and in danger of starving. Real Partners Uganda is supporting the school's administration in providing basic food for the families.
5/2/2020 update: Food prices have escalated and the time before students can return to school is still very uncertain. Even if the official Lockdown is over on May 5, the President has indicated that the process of reopening schools will be gradual. The official plan has yet to be announced. We foresee at least two more weeks of students being at home and needing food; we have increased our fundraising goal accordingly.
