In 2019, Rosemary's Babies Company opened our headquarters in North Avondale to be at the epicenter of all 52 neighborhoods which we served.  At year-end, we found 30% of the teen parents we served were housing insecure. Predominately black young mothers (16-18), they lived with boyfriends, were couch-hopping, homeless, or lived with someone who was un-related. Our organization, being the go-to for teen parents, brought together thought leaders to create mechanisms to alleviate this barrier while supporting the teen family.

Disrupted by the pandemic, we were forced to cease strategizing for several months.  Though we were reluctantly closed our in-office operations our organization did not halt serving families. In fact, the number of families we supported doubled and so did the teens who had no place to go.

Rosemary's Babies Co. feels that no teen parent should have to struggle for basic necessities. Housing is a basic necessity and without this children would be left destitute; exposed to danger and at worse death.  Our plan is to build a Residential Parent Facility, Holloway House & Resource Center.
