We are asking you to help us reach our year-end goal of $12,000.

In the last few years, we targeted most of our programs to the 4500 Latino/a/x students in the North Salem High School feeder area (now 11 schools). As you may have heard, many thanks to the communities of Salem and Keizer, the school bond of 2018 is addressing severe overcrowding, safety and building improvements. But this changed many boundaries for thousands of students, and means that we have more students than ever to serve in the North High area.

SKCE needs to up the ante this school year. We are having one of those difficult years every nonprofit seems to experience every third or fourth year. It means no increases or expansions of services to address the new needs, and possibly delaying some services for six months or more, unless you can make up the difference. We are half way to raising the $12,000 we need by December 31st. The level of pre-k to 2nd grade services we give in North High area elementary schools from January to March 2020 is dependent on these funds. Help us continue to strengthen North High schools this year!

We know you care as much as we do about the success of the 17,000 Latino/a/x students and their families in our district. You have shown us that with your commitment and support in the past. The support of individuals like you makes the difference in funding 100% of our budget.
