The goal: To raise awareness in communities with the far-reaching effects of PTSD – and inspire them to engage.

We will do this by engaging veteran communities without glorifying war and portraying the bravery of confronting trauma when veterans return home and connecting with organizations and groups to promote SCARS and provide hundreds of thousands of viewers with access to and support to address trauma in their own communities and families.

You can support this project by joining our committee to reach out to connecting partner organizations and people who may be effective future partners.

*Any donors giving over $5,000 will receive an Associate Producer credit.

The SCARS Project fosters collaboration between community leaders and groups in an effort to stem the growth of this condition among our veterans, their friends and families, and others.

Our purpose of The Scars Project is to provide low cost or no-cost educational materials and programs including plays, movies, books and other media to assist and benefit those suffering with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) or other psychological trauma. These materials will also assist families and loved ones. Providing these services and materials for victims and their relatives on a charitable basis is, and will be, a guiding principle for our activities.
