Seattle Pride supports queer arts, events, and youth programs — with your help! Your donation supports annual programming and events that nurture queer visibility and joy.

Seattle Pride is proud to produce some of the largest free Pride events in the country, including Pride in the Park and the Seattle Pride Parade, which collectively welcome over 300,000 attendees each June. These events are bigger than a celebration, they are spaces of visibility, resistance, and joy for the LGBTQIA2S+ community.

But keeping Pride free, accessible, and community-powered takes real resources.

In the wake of DEI rollbacks and companies divesting from supporting our LGBTQIA2S+ communities, Seattle Pride is facing a significant funding gap of $350,000. This comes at a time when attacks on our communities are escalating, and queer and trans people are being increasingly erased from public life and safe spaces.

As one of the largest Pride celebrations in the country, we feel a deep responsibility to keep our events free, inclusive, and safe for everyone — and that takes serious funding. From private security (because we do not believe in police at Pride), to accessibility measures like ASL interpreters, ramps, and ADA seating, to fair and equitable pay for our local talent. Every element is intentional and community-centered.

We pay our people — because they’re worth it.

Our performers, artists, emcees, and accessibility experts are local and they are all paid well. From drag royalty to emerging musicians, we value their labor and ensure it’s respected.

We keep Pride free — because access matters.

There are no tickets, no gates, and no barriers to attend. But this only remains possible through community support.
