Shwachman-Diamond Syndrome Alliance is a US based nonprofit organization serving the SDS community globally. Our mission is to #CureSDS. We will enable and accelerate cures and therapies  by 

• investing into research and therapeutics development projects aligned with our research road map. Our primary goal for a cure is eradicating the leukemia risk in SDS
• developing critical research tools (such as model system) and make them available to researchers anywhere
• building a global patient data infrastructure accessible to qualified researchers everywhere, following the highest safety standards and compliant with GDPR and HIPAA
• amplifying the patient voice in the drug development process and engaging with all stakeholders including industry partners and regulators
• empowering patients and build patient communities, ready for clinical trials and development
• enhancing and expanding collaborative research networks
