The SDS Alliance is launching a fundraising campaign to develop an SDS mouse model! We are super excited to have convinced the Jackson Laboratory (JAX) — the best in the world for mouse model development — to work for free with us to develop an SDS mouse model! This is a rare opportunity we can’t afford to miss!

Mouse models are the key to therapy development and currently there is no SDS mouse model suitable for a wide range of therapies. We need to raise $150,000 to contract Drs. Marc Raaijmakers and Alan Warren to characterize the model (at the Erasmus MC Cancer Institute, the Netherlands, and the Cambridge University Hospitals, UK, respectively). Drs. Raaijmakers and Warren are the leading experts in mouse model characterization and have done extensive work on SDS. Once the model is developed, we will make sure that the model is available to any researcher in the world for SDS research. This will really enable and accelerate the development of many therapies for SDS!

Our future is in our hands! It’s time to turn hope into action! We need your support to make it happen. Please donate and fundraise!
