Donations will help us with car repairs, gas cards and car maintenance for friends sleeping in their cars. We hope to be able to support individuals who do not qualify for the Dane County hotel programs to stay in hotels when the weather turns frigid. In addition, monetary donations will allow our groups to coordinate and provide the most essential resources equitably throughout the Madison area.

Service providers and community organizations, in association with the Homeless Services Consortium of Dane County and the City of Madison, have been working together throughout the pandemic to get everyone connected to the support and resources they need, and share donated goods with one another so they go where they are most needed.

McPike Park Support Partners:

Sankofa Behavioral and Community Health:  Our Outreach Team provides various services to people experiencing homelessness in Madison, WI. Some services we provide are case management, safety assessments, planning, employment opportunities and housing search.

MACH OneHealth: MACH OneHealth does medical rounds on Monday evenings to provide medical and housing services to people sleeping in the park as well as provide basic winter weather supplies (gloves/hats, hand warmers, cold and flu supplies, kleenex, lotion, chapstick etc.)

Catalyst for Change: We meet the person where they are at in their life and journey. We get to know a person and offer a multitude of services that address their needs. Our goal is to support people to grow and move to the next stage of their lives. We elevate people by treating them with dignity and working with them as part of our team.
