It’s an exciting time for the SA+C. The Seaport area is developing fast and we must keep up our efforts to remain visible. We advocate for our artists by offering creative craft experiences and meaningful engagements beyond the “normal and expected.”

Our PRIED exhibition in June was a resounding success in that regard: the show brought in a young, highly diverse audience and was well-visited throughout its duration. The national PR recognition helped drive new audiences to us that typically don’t consider themselves as engaging with craft. Topping it off was an event featuring the famous (and incredibly humble and friendly) TV and Broadway star, Alan Cumming.

We ask for your support today so that we can continue to bring the arts and crafts to you and the larger Boston community. We seek to become a more well-known, inclusive, and most importantly: relevant 21st-century craft organization on the East Coast. We invite you to become part of a growing group of investors who wish to secure the future of craft in Boston by supporting the Society of Arts + Crafts.
