Mesa County Solar Co-op Fundraiser

by Solar United Neighbors

If we raise $5,000 by March 31, 2020, we’ll receive a matching donation from Western Colorado Community Foundation! The deadline is approaching quickly. Please donate now!

Select your donation level on the right (or below if using a smartphone). Then, click the "Continue" button to complete the donation process.

Your donation will support greater regional adoption of rooftop solar through the Mesa County Solar Co-op in Colorado. The co-op brings together homeowners to go solar at a reduced group rate within a streamlined process. Solar United Neighbors facilitates this process as a vendor-neutral, 501(c)(3) nonprofit with a strong track record. Joining the co-op is free, with no obligation to go solar.

With your help, the Mesa County Solar Co-op project will educate hundreds of community members about solar. And of the 100 - 150 co-op participants we plan to recruit, we estimate that 30 - 50 will proceed with solar installs. These installs will result in upwards of $1 million in local investment and consumer energy cost savings of $1.3 million over 20 years.

Solar United Neighbors has supported over 4,600 solar installations since 2007. This has produced a whopping 35,000 kW of solar energy nationwide. We accomplished this through community outreach and education in collaboration with partners and community members. Please donate now to expand solar in Mesa County!
