The Alliance of Southwest Missouri exists to make Southwest Missouri the safest place for children to thrive. We do this by offering education and resources for children and their families in Jasper, Newton, Barton, and McDonald Counties.

The organization is home to community action programs that include parenting classes, Educare, Full Potential, DYS Youth Mentoring, substance abuse prevention education, and Safe Kids. These programs work to help families and youth make safer choices, create safer environments, and prevent childhood death and injuries. Additionally, the Alliance hosts four community-based substance abuse coalitions, the Community Health Collaborative, and the Homeless Coalition.

The Alliance is one of 20 Community Partnerships in the state of Missouri. Community Partnerships operate under the Family and Community Trust or FACT. Established in 1998, we are celebrating over 20 years of serving the communities of Southwest Missouri and making significant contributions to the safety and strength of the families who live in these communities. The staff here are experts in their fields and continuing education is always a priority. By staying up to date on the latest research around youth injuries and fatalities, we are able to implement effective and helpful prevention programs for the families we serve.
