Run For The 1
October is National Breast Cancer Awareness Month. According to the American Cancer Society, about 12% (1 in 8) U.S. women will develop invasive breast cancer over the course of her lifetime. After losing her mom to breast cancer in the Summer of 2019, Lululemon Ambassador Kayla Jeter joined forces with local nonprofit organizations and the broader running community in support for the awareness, early detection and treatment of this disease. This year, Kayla and Lululemon are excited to be partnering with the Stay Beautiful Foundation; a Chicago based non-profit organization that delivers natural beauty products to women affected by cancer.
About Stay Beautiful
Stay Beautiful seeks to deliver happiness to women with cancer around the globe by giving them an "unboxing experience," providing boxes filled with natural beauty products. Our goal is for women to feel beautiful during their treatments and beyond.
To date we have a community of over 200 women with cancer to whom we deliver an "unboxing experience" on a monthly basis. Our boxes are dedicated to those who are currently undergoing cancer treatments, but our community is open to all women who have been affected by cancer, personally or through a loved one.
