Stage Skills Program with belong disABILITY Ministry

by Stomping Ground Comedy Theater and Training Center

Next month, Stomping Ground's Improv for Life program will be partnering with belong disABILITY Ministry to offer classes during their 10-week Spotlight: Stage Skills program.

Spotlight: Stage Skills will broaden a participant’s understanding and involvement in all aspects of theatre. At the end of this fall workshop, each participant will have contributed to multiple visual and performance projects and toured a professional theatre facility. The workshop will conclude with a small showcase, which will display several projects created by each of the different interest groups that participants have chosen throughout the course of the semester.

Belong disABILITY Ministry welcomes people of all abilities, ages, and faith to be part of an adaptive, inclusive community at HPUMC.

Students are teens and adults with a range of physical and intellectual disabilities, ages 16 and up, who come from all over the DFW area (Pleasant Grove, East Dallas, Park Cities, Richardson, Plano, Allen, Rosser, and beyond.) All of belong's programs are offered at no cost.

Your generous donation will allow students to practice mindfulness, communication skills, social skills, emotional regulation, self-awareness, and interpersonal connections with our trained Improv for Life instructors.
