As seen on WGN, NBC, ABC, CBS and the daily herald it's our own local Batman and his team from the 𝐒𝐮𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐨 𝐂𝐨𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞! They run an organization that visits critically ill children in hospitals as superheroes while providing toys, laughs, and hope. This year they need your help to support their biggest goal yet, to renovate a home in Evergreen Park, IL that will be donated to a family with a child facing a serious disease. We need your help by donating funds in order to complete our mission!
The Superhero Collective is unlike anything you have seen before. These are a special group of people who started getting together in movie quality superhero costumes to make children in hospitals laugh and smile. The group also brings toys and offers something special: to treat them like a normal kid for even 5 minutes. It has grown year after year and they decided it was time to take it a step further. They have taken on the incredible task of renovating a home to give away to one of these families! What started as a crazy idea of a dad putting on a costume has turned into a movement.
With your support this is one of many houses they can give away. Together, if we all pitch in our piece we can collectively change the world for sick children.
Your donation here large or small will be used to renovate a home for a child facing a terminal disease or deliver toys and smiles to child in a hospital. It's that simple. Every single day while we are going about our business there is a sick child going through the unimaginable over and over. They are forced to deal with adult situations that would bring the strongest of character to tears. Its just not fair. A common scenario that plays out in these visits is that they don't want to be there and they feel burdened with the responsibility it puts on their family. You never meet a mean kid with cancer. They are always the most humble, courageous and inspiring little humans. This is how we flip their journey into something incredibly positive. To give their family a home.
This is how we do something about it. Right here right now. Make a stance. YOU can be a superhero.
