This year marks the 5th annual lemonade stand Noah and Cole host in support of Tee It Up for the Troops—and five years of growing impact for our veterans!

It all began with two little boys, a cooler of lemonade, and a simple goal: to thank the veterans participating in the Tee It Up for the Troops golf event happening right in their backyard at Olympic Hills Golf Course. Noah and Cole didn’t set out to build something big—they just wanted to help and show their patriotic support. Year after year, that small act of gratitude has grown into a meaningful tradition rooted in service and community.

That first year, the boys proudly emptied their little glass jar and counted $359. To a seven- and four-year-old, it might as well have been millions! What mattered most was the joy they felt handing over their earnings and realizing their small effort could mean something to someone else. That moment lit a spark none of us could have anticipated.

Each year since, the stand—and the boys—have grown. They’ve added new ideas, expanded offerings, spent time talking with veterans, and learned why this mission matters so deeply. Last summer, they stepped out in faith by going out into the community to seek sponsorships for the first time—transforming a simple lemonade stand into a shared community effort.

That collective generosity added up in a remarkable way—$33,168 raised to support our troops! The story caught the attention of WCCO News, which highlighted how a simple lemonade stand grew into a powerful community effort. The spotlight was unexpected, but it reflected what we’ve seen all along: the power of a simple idea fueled by servant hearts and a generous community.

This June, Noah and Cole will host their 5th Annual Charity Lemonade Stand—still very much a lemonade stand, but one that represents young people learning what it means to serve, and a community coming together to support veterans and their families as they heal, transition, grow, and thrive.

As we celebrate this five-year milestone, we are seeking sponsorship partners to help amplify this year’s impact! This lemonade stand has been a hands-on way for Noah and Cole to learn what it means to grow up giving back.
