Creating Positive Homes for the Holidays

by The Alliance for Positive Change

About this campaign

HIV/AIDS, substance use disorder, and other chronic health conditions can be destabilizing and impact all areas of one’s life, and can even lead to homelessness. Imagine getting through the challenge of homelessness and moving into a new apartment, only to find that you don’t have any of the bedding, towels, or other essentials that make a house a home.

That’s why we are launching our second annual Positive Homes for the Holidays, which provides people with resources that are critical to a brighter future.

Every $100 we raise will fund a Positive Homes Kit, including:

  • Bedding (sheets, pillow cases, blankets)
  • Towels
  • Toiletries
  • Cleaning supplies
  • Pots and pans
  • Dishes
  • Gloves and scarves

Help us raise $5,000 for 50 kits this holiday season and create positive change for New Yorkers facing HIV/AIDS, substance use disorder, and other chronic health conditions.

Alliance for Positive Change transforms lives of New Yorkers living with HIV/AIDS and other chronic illnesses. We help people access medical care, manage and overcome addiction, escape homelessness, get back to work, and find community. By addressing the underlying issues that contribute to poor health, the Alliance’s individualized, full-service approach and harm reduction philosophy help New Yorkers lead healthier, more self-sufficient lives. At the Alliance, we believe everyone deserves the chance to feel better, live better, and do better. To learn more, please visit
