Never have mental health and psychosocial services been needed more in Gaza than they are today.

Even with a ceasefire in place, the situation remains dire and precarious. In Gaza – where 90% of the population is displaced – regular airstrikes continue despite the agreement, Palestinian children and adults continue to be killed and injured, and humanitarian aid remains severely restricted. The psychological toll of living under catastrophic conditions for two years has resulted in deep trauma across the entire population.

Since the start of the current war, CMBM's locally-based Gaza team has brought thousands of Mind-Body Skills Groups and workshops to internally displaced families, orphans, caregivers, first responders, and severely wounded patients in shelters, clinics, and temporary learning centers across the Strip.
