Fear is having a moment.

Every day at the Festival Center, we witness a different story.

Behind our doors, immigrant advocates organize to protect families. Artists help communities imagine new possibilities. Faith leaders stand alongside grassroots organizers. Mutual aid networks care for neighbors. Healers remind us that movements are sustained not only by strategy, but by joy, rest, and belonging. Organizations that might never have met become partners, and strangers become collaborators in building a more just Washington.

This is what it means to sow love.

Love is not passive. It is the courage to organize when others are intimidated into silence. It is choosing community over isolation, generosity over scarcity, creativity over despair, and hope over fear. It is the daily work of showing up for one another and building the relationships that make lasting change possible.
