Our Mission:

Invisible Hands is powered by engaged, healthy volunteers who deliver groceries, medication, and other essential items to those who are especially vulnerable to COVID-19. We’re primarily focused on supporting the elderly, disabled, and immunocompromised.

We call ourselves Invisible Hands because, given what’s currently known about COVID-19 transmission methods, we work to make our deliveries as contactless as possible. But don’t worry: you’ll still talk on the phone with your volunteer, and you can tell each other a little about yourselves! In this incredibly isolating time, we’re happy to provide some connection.

About Us:

Invisible Hands was created by Simone, Liam, and Healy, three healthy 20-somethings who saw what was happening in NYC in early March and recognized the urgent need for a reliable service that delivers groceries, medication, and other essential items to those for whom the coronavirus pandemic is most threatening.

Since then, Invisible Hands has grown into a community of over 10,000 committed volunteers, including runners on the ground making deliveries, call center operators, and those facilitating the process of matching recipients and runners. We’re so grateful for the tireless work and dedication of those in our community.

A donation of $31 allows an Invisible Hands volunteer to access the technological tools we use to keep our operations going for a full year!

Whether they’re out delivering, answering requests using our Call Center technology, or coordinating deliveries through Slack, we couldn’t do our work without our incredible volunteers.

Help us continue the good fight today!
