The Rotary Club of Pass Christian will hold Paddle the Bay as its 2025 fundraiser from 8 AM to 2 PM on Saturday, June 21, 2025 at the Henderson Point Park in Harrison County at the base of the Bay Bridge in Pass Christian. This will be the Club’s only fundraiser and helps support the club’s many good works in our local community and beyond. Please join us for this year’s event, which includes food, beverages, music and a silent auction. Participants can paddle around Mallini Bayou or across the Bay in kayaks, canoes, or paddleboards at any time. We will have buoys and spotter boats along the route between the Highway 90 and railroad bridges. Launch at Henderson Point Park or Henderson Point boat launch.

Each participant will get monetary sponsors in order to participate in the paddle. Suggested minimum donation is $50. The top three participants with the most money donated will win the golden paddle, silver paddle or bronze paddle which also come with prizes.

Collect your donations from friends, family members and business associates! You don't have to paddle To raise money!

If needed, you can arrange to rent a kayak from Everything Kayak in Gulfport, MS. Call them today at (228) 865-1000. Make sure to specify Rotary Club of Pass Christian when ordering your rental.

If you want to rent a paddleboard, contact SIP Paddle Rental which delivers paddleboards all along the MS Gulf Coast. They will also be giving paddleboard tours every hour starting at 9AM and the last tour at 1PM. The tours begin at the Henderson Point Park Kayak Launch and are approximately a 1.4 mile round paddleboard trip. Personal Flotation Devices (PFDs) will be provided. Five people can participate at a time. First come, first serve! The tours will be free with donations to the rotary club greatly appreciated!

Sip Paddle Rental will also be raffling off a paddleboard! All proceeds will go to the rotary club. Winner announced at 12:30 PM.

The Rotary Club of Pass Christian was founded in 1924 and is the oldest service organization in Pass Christian. It is one of the first 200 Rotary Clubs in the world. There are now more than 32,000 clubs worldwide with more than 1.2 million members.

The Rotary Club of Pass Christian’s heart is in the Pass and, in the past, we have built houses, helped restore normalcy in the Pass following Katrina with the purchase of city vehicles, playground facilities, technological equipment for the library, and the construction of the new Dayton Robinson Scout Hut. We provide financial support for our local school district and police force and many other local projects that benefit our community as well as worldwide Rotary projects. There are no administrative costs, all proceeds are directed to the projects that we support. The Rotary Charity Trust Fund is the 501-C3 arm of the Rotary Club of Pass Christian, Mississippi.
