United Against Hate Week 2019 is a week-long civic action project taking place in cities and communities across the Bay Area from November 17th - November 23rd.
This week of action brings together residents and community groups in cities and communities around the Bay Area who want to organize actions in response to the rise in hate crimes and bias incidents in our communities and across the country.
The inaugural United Against Hate Week took place from November 11-18, 2018, and resulted in over 20 actions across over 20 jurisdictions, including film screenings, vigils, bystander intervention trainings, teach-ins, interfaith community discussions of texts, and poetry slams.
United Against Hate Week 2019
The goal for United Against Hate Week is to provide communities with the tools, resources, and support they need to create locally driven actions to stand united against growing intolerance, beginning with the second annual United Against Hate Week from November 17-23, 2019.
