On January 4, The York Theatre sustained major flood damage due to a water main break.
Shortly thereafter, Artistic Director Jim Morgan created a Facebook post and fundraiser which garnered an incredible response. We are deeply moved and grateful to our community of patrons, artists and volunteers for coming together to help the York rebuild after this disaster.
We launch this campaign to try and raise $300,000 to cover the costs associated with our recovery, which now include moving everything out of our Saint Peter's space -- and storing it -- for an unspecified amount of time while the space is rebuilt.
Thank you so much to those of you who have already given. With your help, we hope to get to the other side of the flood -- and the pandemic as well.
