The Ugandan Water Project's 1-Week Water Challenge is an invitation to take an engaging journey - not geographically - but an experiential journey into the heart of the global water crisis. Over the course of 7 days, our team members will experience what it's like to have to work hard to acquire water and navigate everyday life with a limited amount of it.

This 1-Week Water Challenge is part of Elim Gospel Church's (EGC) upcoming fundraiser to raise $10,000 to equip health clinics in Uganda with life-saving, clean water. Team members from EGC will carry around a 20-liter jerry can with them each day which will supply their entire day's worth of water needs; from brushing their teeth, washing their hands, drinking water, and more.

Each day, the team members will be uploading a video blog where they share what it is like to walk through what is a daily reality for so many Ugandans. Support their efforts by donating to right here to the challenge or team member's personal fundraising campaigns.
