For the next two weeks our community at Elim Gospel Church will be engaging in a campaign to raise $10,000 for clean water at health clinics in Uganda! Health clinics are on the front line of the COVID crisis across the globe. But right now there are health clinics across Uganda didn't have access to clean water.

Across Uganda there are clinics that lack access to the best preventative medicine: clean water. We've been told that one of the most simple things we can do to help prevent the spread of COVID is to be diligent about hand washing. What if you either didn't have access to clean water or the water you do have is already contaminated with germs and bacteria?

You can help our church community turn the love of Christ into clean water by making a donation right here, right now.

Our plan is to meet our fundraising goal by Sunday, November 1 and celebrate our impact with a Water Walk! In solidarity with Ugandan's whose everyday reality includes walking to fetch water, we will gather together after church and celebrate the life-giving impact of clean water. Wear comfy shoes and bring a 1 gallon jug to carry as we walk together from EGC to the pond at Mark Tubbs Park, fill our cans, and walk back - knowing that soon that people in Uganda will not have to make a similar trip for much longer.
